Government Jobs - Noncontractual - $18.60 Hourly Ensures the safety, security and welfare of students, faculty, staff and visitors in an assigned location. Work involves being highly visible in the halls, cafeteria, rest rooms, stairwells, grounds, parking lots and other locations for the purpose of ensuring safety, order, and discipline. Requires excellent rapport with students to encourage proper behavior and cooperation with school administrators and law enforcement agencies in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations. Selects and applies appropriate effective methods of crime prevention, intervention and enforcement in different situations. Responds to violent or other disruptive events.
