Description:
We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our night shift team. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality care to our patients, manage treatment plans, and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure each patient's needs are met with excellence and empathy.
Requirements:
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient status.
- Assessment: Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to determine care needs and document findings.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitoring: Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
- Education: Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Compliance: Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [State].
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical-surgical setting preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move patients as necessary.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Ability to handle physical and emotional stress.
Work Schedule:
- Regular schedule is based on patient volume and surgical schedule. Schedule is set by the Nursing Management prior to shift's start.
