Bongards Premium Cheese is looking for a dedicated, dynamic and experienced individual to perform as our Lidder Operator on our processed cheese line.Job Duties
- Operate the Randel Tray Former
- Assure the quality of trays is to specification and check tray quality periodically
- Must be able to make minor adjustments to maintain maximum efficiency
- Operator must have a sufficient amount of supplies in their work area to eliminate unnecessary shut-downs and maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion
- Keep machines in good operation condition.
- Notify maintenance as necessary in the event of a breakdown.
- Perform all work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow all GMP's, SOP's, and Safety Guidelines when performing all work.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Must demonstrate a commitment of both food and employee safety.
- Assist in other when necessary.
- All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead person.
Other requirements
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Must be able to read and follow written instructions
- Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, and other quality guidelines
- Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement
Physical capabilities
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., and lift lesser weights frequently.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time during shift hours.
