Night Shift Operator - Gulf Distributing Company : Job Details

The warehouse forklift operator is responsible for efficient, safe and accurate unloading of the transport trucks and performing the assigned warehouse maintenance tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Must report to work on time and clock in and out properly Unload inbound freight and outbound freight Verify receiving reports with warehouse manager Replenish all pick locations and areas Ensure all empty pallets are removed from the pick area and properly stored Be aware of code dates and load the oldest product first Inspect all cases unloaded to ensure they are in sellable condition Responsible for assisting in all functions of warehouse maintenance Report any accidents to manager on duty immediately. Maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of the company. Obtain from the Warehouse Manager approval prior to working more than your regular schedule.
