Night Shift Press Operator III - Accentuate Staffing : Job Details

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading printing company in the Durham area who is hiring a skilled Press Operator III to join their team. This is a great direct hire opportunity working on night shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am.

Responsibilities:

• Operate 3, 6, 8, and 12 color presses efficiently and ensure high-quality output
• Set up presses according to job specifications and read job orders carefully
• Utilize computer software effectively to manage jobs from start to finish
• Inspect plates for quality before mounting and use quality control devices to ensure optimal results
• Achieve proper registration on all jobs and adjust ink fountains to meet density and color standards
• Maintain and adjust rollers, ensuring paperwork is accurate and up-to-date
• Direct and train press assistants on proper procedures and safety practices

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Press Operator, with the ability to operate various presses and handle different printing techniques
• Strong understanding of pressroom procedures and quality control standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds, with regular lifting of smaller amounts
