The Production Manager is a highly motivated and qualified individual who provides leadership and supervision to Team Managers and all Production Department employees within Paragon Films. The position requires solid technical and mechanical skills while embracing the coaching and cultural spirit within our organization. The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of their team, management of their employees and production processes and procedures of all shifts while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, departmental and company-wide goals. This individual demonstrates a high level of self-motivation and can work under little to no supervision. This candidate may be required to relocate.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Provides leadership, coaching and supervision to Production Team Managers and production department employees, ensuring they are fostering an environment of growth and development for Production Team Managers.
* Responsible for managing the daily production floor activities, monitors for production process issues, personnel issues and all other related tasks.
* Resolves production related issues within level of authority, works closely with other department managers and Plant Manager to ensure resolution of reported issues, discuss production topics, works collaboratively with other management and leadership roles within Paragon to help ensure production processes meet goals and company standards.
* Has and maintains a thorough knowledge of all Paragon processes and equipment with the ability to troubleshoot and assist with maintenance of equipment, reports any process and equipment problems, calls maintenance manager or plant manager when necessary.
* Demonstrates a full understanding of all lines and process conditions for each line on production floor, provides overall leadership of line production by providing guidance and assistance to other roles on production line, answers questions, responsible for ensuring all job responsibilities are being performed, as well as production related decisions such as line cleanings, assisting in change overs, coordinates and schedules shift, works closely with Team Managers to monitor overall production across all shifts.
* Identifies, collaborates and implements continuous improvement ideas to achieve targeted efficiency ratings.
* Responsible for production department budget planning and performance. Make capital budget recommendations and manager applicable projects.
* Responsible for overseeing and monitoring the training, development and mentoring of employees as well as reviewing and correcting timesheets, providing recommendations and input on employee promotions and disciplinary matters, annual reviews, training needs and other matters related to employee development and management while maintaining compliance with applicable employment laws and policies.

* The Exempt Annual Salary range of a Team Manger 31E Grade Wage Scale with annual progress is $67,724.80 - $91,561.25 as required for transparency under the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunities Act.
SCHEDULE:
We now offer 12 Hour Straight Shifts without monthly Rotation, but Shift is subject to availability of open position.
Night Shift Hours - 7:00pm - 7:00am.
Working a 2-2 3 Schedule with every other weekend as a 3-day weekend off. Work alternating 36 hour week and 48 hour week.
This type of schedule gives you more day off! You only work about 14 days per month, but due to 12 hr shifts you have the same hours as if working 20 days per month!!
Work involves Overtime, 12 Hour Shifts, and Schedule Changes.
Requires adherence to deadlines and project completion deadlines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge/Skill/Ability
* Minimum of five years of experience in production environment with a demonstrated proficiency in all previous level roles or substitute preferred bachelor's degree for on the job experience.
* Minimum of two years of experience demonstrated leadership with proven ability to lead and manage a team with success with ability to comprehend, embrace and apply training as provided.
* Strong analytical skills as they apply to production and business.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead team members daily.
* Practice and promote teamwork within our organization, at all levels.
* Ability to interact with and engage with diverse personalities through tactful, mature and flexible communication and relationships.
* Advanced technical aptitude to understand machinery and systems within a production environment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude to understand and properly utilize basic hand tools with accuracy.
* Ability to demonstrate sound judgement while adapting to fast paced environment and rapid changes.
* Able to effectively manage multiple tasks and handle unexpected delays or events while maintaining constant attention to detail.
* Strong organizational skills combined with problem-solving skills while recognizing and supporting the organization.
* High level of dependability regarding attendance and punctuality.
* Understanding and ability to communicate using the English language in both written and spoken form or willingness to take ESL classes with ability to provide clear and concise instruction to new employees while teaching processes and procedures.
* Basic mathematic skills.
* Computer proficiency with experience in Microsoft Office Suite.

EDUCATION
* Associates degree or equivalent in related discipline
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field
