Production Supervisor – Plastic Film Manufacturing

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the plastic film industry, is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production operations for plastic film manufacturing, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Lead and manage production teams, providing training, coaching, and performance management to meet production goals.
  • Monitor and improve production processes to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams to address production issues and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output, quality, and efficiency.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, implementing lean manufacturing practices where applicable.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for experience in plastic film production.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate production teams to meet and exceed operational goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of production equipment and processes used in plastic film manufacturing.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a high-quality standard.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in lean manufacturing or process optimization.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and compliance within the plastic film industry.
