Non Financial Risks Senior Manager

Job Description

Tasks performed by Technical Secretariat in the process of receiving, reviewing, scheduling and presenting credit risk proposals to Committees. The Technical Secretariat is independent of the proposers, contrast and decision-makers. Responsibilities include:

Reception of the risk proposal.

Knowledge of global regulations.

Verify that:

The decision-making scope of the proposal is adequate.

The report and the proposal comply with the provisions of the internal policy, procedures and regulations.

The proposal is clear for its proper understanding in the Committee.

Whether or not the requirements related to the proposal to be presented to the Committee (ESG questionnaire, leveraged lending criteria, etc.) are met.

Whether there are issues that may affect the reputational risk for its inclusion in the report and the proposal.

Respond to the queries that are raised by the affected units regarding the admission circuit and decision-making scope.

Schedule the proposal for presentation to the Committee.

Ensure compliance with the Committee's regulations (quorum, presidency, etc.).

Preparation of the minutes, which record both the challenge carried out by the attendees and the final decision adopted by the same.

Distribution of the minutes to the president for signature and filing in the Committees application.

Coordinate the definition and structure of all Committees under the scope of Global Risk Management, monitoring their proper functioning.

Monthly reports on the Committee activity, attendance, approvals, etc.

Knowledge/Experience:

* Demonstrable credit risk experience including 10+ years relevant experience in a similar role at another institution is highly desirable.

Skills/Competencies:

* Strong project management, planning and organizational skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to audiences of varying levels of seniority

* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and exert influence without direct authority

* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Qualifications:

* BA/BSc or higher in business, finance, or a related field.

* Fluent in Spanish

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $130,000 to $175,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
