Job Title: Operations Manager
Reports To: CEO/Executive Director
Location: Vallejo, CA (Hybrid)
Salary Range: $87,000 - $101,000
Position Summary:
The Operations Manager at Club Stride Inc. will play a pivotal role in streamlining organizational processes, managing internal operations, and supporting various departments to achieve the organization's mission of empowering youth. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in nonprofit operations, strong organizational skills, and the ability to foster collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Oversight and Process Improvement
- Develop and implement internal policies, procedures, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring seamless coordination across departments.
- Manage organizational tools and platforms, including Microsoft Teams, Monday.com, and Microsoft 365.
2. Resource and Financial Management
- Assist in budget planning, resource allocation, and financial oversight in collaboration with the CEO.
- Monitor contracts and agreements with external partners, ensuring timely deliverables and compliance.
- Identify and implement cost-effective operational solutions.
3. Human Resources and Team Coordination
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff and subcontractors.
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with nonprofit employment regulations.
- Foster a positive organizational culture by supporting team collaboration and professional development.
4. Program and Project Support
- Provide operational support for program delivery, including high school and middle school initiatives.
- Track and monitor program timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with Program Managers.
- Assist in compiling data for program evaluation and grant reporting.
5. Communication and Stakeholder Support
- Manage logistical aspects of external communications, including social media, PR, and community engagement efforts.
- Support the CEO in partnership development by coordinating meeting schedules, contracts, and follow-ups.
6. Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations and reporting requirements.
- Prepare operational and financial reports for the CEO and Board of Directors.
7. Volunteer Management
- Create and maintain systems for recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating volunteers as needed.
- Provide logistical support for volunteer engagement activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
- Strong background in project management, including experience with tools like Microsoft Teams and Monday.com.
- Familiarity with nonprofit budgeting and financial management.
- Experience with youth-focused organizations or marginalized communities is a plus.
