Notetaker/Scorer (On-site Albany, NY Temporary Project Work)
NWEA, a division of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) has a unique opportunity for candidates who live within driving or train distance of Albany New York. Looking for qualified applicants for in-person committee meetings; you will take comprehensive notes electronically regarding decisions and discussions for Social Studies from August 5th through 9th, and Math from August 12th through the 15th. You will transition to a Scoring opportunity with an anticipated date of 8/15/24 for ELA, and 8/26/24 for Math, with an approximate end date of September 20, 2024.
To Be Considered
- You must live within driving or train distance of Albany New York
- You must commit to both opportunities to qualify for this project
Project Requirements
Notetaker $19.00/hr.
- 4-year degree +15 credits in the content area applying for, content areas: High School US History, Global History, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry (or History and Math, but no ELA)
- 8+ hour workdays
- Basic computer skills including data entry skills to take comprehensive notes electronically regarding decisions and discussions during the meeting
Scorer $17.00/hr.
- 4-year degree +15 credits in the content area applying for, content areas: High School level ELA, Social Studies, and Math, Sciences
- Use of Rubric to score open ended student responses.
- 8-hour days (some flexibility may be considered)
- Home office equipment and secure space required.
- Basic computer skills
Compensation
- Pay Rate: Notetaker $19.00/hr. | Scoring $17.00/hr.
- Mileage or train fare reimbursement
