Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical proficiency in performing nuclear medicine procedures, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Duties Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT scans, SPECT imaging, and radioisotope studies for diagnostic purposes. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to prescribed protocols, ensuring accurate dosing and patient safety. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to assess and interpret diagnostic imaging results. Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure their comfort and safety. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging results in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Ensure all equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operating in accordance with safety standards. Follow infection control protocols and adhere to patient safety guidelines at all times. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Experience Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or in a similar diagnostic imaging role. Requirements Required: BLS, ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB, NY license Venipuncture experience required Minimum 1 year experience This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, patient-focused Nuclear Medicine Technologist who thrives in a fast-paced, clinical setting and is committed to delivering top-quality diagnostic services.
