Position: Nuclear Medicine TechnologistType: ContractLocation: Queens, NYShift: 5x8 Days, 8am - 4:30pmHourly Pay Rate: $52Summary: Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for Nuclear Lab operation, including testing equipment, educating patients and families regarding the procedures, and performing the procedures in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures and standardsRequirements:

• Associate degree in biology or related field
• Certified Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
• AHA BLS Certification
• Proof of Full Covid-19 Vaccination

Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET scans, mammography, and other diagnostic evaluations
• Use medical imaging equipment to capture images of the patient's anatomy
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as necessary
• Follow aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and prevent contamination
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze imaging results
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
