Upon successful completion the of the program and obtaining your NYS certification, candidates will be offered full time position in the Nursing Home.Pay rate: $16.00 per hourClass starts September 2024A.O. Fox Hospital – Nursing Home offers a friendly and compassionate environment with reasonable staff to resident ratios (1 to 10) which allows us to care for every resident as a unique person. • High school graduate or equivalent, preferred

Experience

• Previous long term care experience, preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.
• Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to move or lift patients and equipment

Physical Requirements

• Stand, Sit 1-3 hrs, Bend, Squat, Reach, Lift, Carry, Push, Pull 1/3 or more of the time.
• Weight lifted/force exerted- Up to 35 lbs
