Nurse Aide Training Program Instructor - Absolut Center : Job Details

• Implement education programs for Certified Nursing Assistants
• Create a lesson plan for the Nurse Aide Training Program that includes classroom and clinical training combined for at least 100 hours duration
• Teach the Nurse Aide Certification course
• Coordinate students' clinical and classroom experiences within the facility

•Complete each nurse aide trainee's performance record of major duties and skills learned and demonstratedQualifications and SkillsSkills we are looking for:

• Enthusiasm and eagerness to teach
• Clinical competency with basic nursing care
• Ability to work independently and anticipate educational need with motivation to start education
• Eagerness to learn new skills and participate in the Train the Trainer programs

Requirement/Qualifications:

• 1-year experience in Long-term care
• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse
• CPR certified
