Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the Nurse Assistant performs delegated tasks and procedures of patient care, involving the physical, psychological, social, emotional, safety, and security needs of the patient. The unit secretary facilitates non-clinical processes of communication between nursing, medical staff, patients, families and all other hospital departments. Responsible for specific assigned area and all related duties for that area. Exercises sound judgment in making routine decisions and seeks assistance in more complex decisions. Handles confidential information appropriately. This is a safety sensitive position.*ZRQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or GED. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare ProvidersPREFERRED QUALIFICATION:NA certification and/or previous experience. 1-2 years of hospital experience as a unit secretary.
