  • Job Summary:

    The BPO In-House Nurse is responsible for providing basic medical care and health services to employees within the BPO facility. The nurse will be involved in health monitoring, first aid, wellness programs, and coordinating with external healthcare providers. This role requires maintaining high standards of health and safety and ensuring compliance with local health regulations.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice nursing.
  • At least 1-2 years of nursing experience in BPO industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in basic medical procedures and first aid.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The nurse will work in a BPO office environment and may need to respond to health emergencies at any time during their shift.
  • This role may require flexible working hours, including night shifts, depending on the operation hours of the BPO.
  • Ability to move around the office to attend to employees.
  • Capability to lift and carry medical supplies as needed.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide first aid and emergency care to employees in case of injury or sudden illness.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician or in accordance with company protocols.
  • Assist in managing chronic conditions by providing health education and monitoring employee health.
  • Conduct regular health checks (e.g., blood pressure, blood sugar, etc.) for employees.
  • Monitor and maintain records of employee health status and medical history.
  • Manage and update health records and ensure confidentiality of medical information.
  • Develop and implement health and wellness programs to promote employee well-being.
  • Organize health seminars, vaccination drives, and other wellness activities.
  • Educate employees on health-related issues, preventive care, and lifestyle choices.
  • Assess the work environment for potential health hazards and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Health and Safety Officer to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Provide guidance on ergonomic practices and injury prevention.
  • Liaise with hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers for employee referrals, consultations, and medical emergencies.
  • Coordinate with company doctors for annual physical exams and other medical needs.
  • Maintain an inventory of medical supplies and ensure that all necessary equipment is in working order.
  • Prepare and submit reports on health-related incidents, trends, and activities.
  • Assist in creating and updating health policies and procedures within the company.
