Additionally, this position participates in staff development and performance improvement activities, fosters interdisciplinary teams, and initiates participation to ensure the best possible patient experience and positive clinical outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and clinical skills, be able to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, and promote a culture of safety, excellence, and compassion.Key Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and supervise the delivery of nursing care by licensed nurses and residential treatment assistants for assigned units, including monitoring staffing and scheduling, managing human resources and materials, and communicating and collaborating with other departments, facilities, patients, their families, or visitors.Provide direct supervision and direct service delivery at the unit level, including motivating staff, guiding problem identification and solving, and facilitating constructive resolution of conflict, while demonstrating knowledge of standards, regulatory agency requirements, and recovery planning.Evaluate staff on assigned unit utilizing performance evaluation tools, generate reports relating to delivery of healthcare, collect data and formulate analyses and action plans, and monitor, report, and assist with the resolution of safety issues.Continuously pursue professional development through in-service education, workshops, conferences, and self-study necessary to maintain current knowledge applicable to the position while providing individualized care and treatment that is consistent with/sensitive to the age and life span developmental needs of each patient.Promote multidisciplinary teamwork, communication and collaboration, initiate and respond to change positively, recommend creative solutions for improving organizational outcomes, and submit clear and concise reports in a timely manner.Qualifications & Requirements:EducationGraduate from an accredited college or university preferred.ExperienceA minimum of three experience as a staff Registered Nurse in a psychiatric setting is requiredAn additional two to three years' leadership experience preferred.Licenses/CertificationsMust hold a current License as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.Specialty certification preferred.Must be CPR certified at the time of commencing employment.We are an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer:We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.We encourage you to apply!
