* *Nurse Manager Operating Room**Nyack, New York*My client is looking to fill 1 full-time Direct Hire Nurse Manager, Operating Room position available in Nyack, NY.* *Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager Operating Room** Responsible and accountable for coordinating and supervising the nursing care provided to patients having operative or other invasive procedures. Provides clinical and administrative leadership. Responsibilities include 24-hour accountability for the management and long- term planning of the patient care area. This includes implementation of the nursing process, staff development and enhancement of the quality of patient care specific to the age/development of the patient population and cost containment. The Nurse Manager provides leadership, motivation and clinical expertise in the management and coordination of a specific Nursing unit(s) to provide quality patient care.* *Requirements of the Nurse Manager Operating Room** *Education: *Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Masters Preferred*Experience: *Five years OR experience required.*Training/Certification: *National Certification in area of expertise preferred.*Licensure: *Current New York State License as a Registered Nurse.*Other: *BLS, ACLS. Membership in a professional organization preferred.
