Join a healthcare team known for its commitment to excellence, innovation, and patient safety in surgical services.Job specificationCandidate requirementsJob specification* Lead and manage the nursing team within the Same Day Surgery unit, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.* Oversee patient care activities, ensuring a smooth workflow and compliance with best practices, focusing on pre-operative and post-operative care.* Ensure the efficient operation of the Same Day Surgery unit, managing resources, equipment, and inventory while optimizing care delivery.* Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and enhance surgical outcomes.* Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality standards, while promoting a positive and supportive work environment.Candidate requirements* A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required* Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a surgical or perioperative setting.* Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.* Recent working on the floor in an Ambulatory Care setting.
