Job Description: Nurse Practitioner needed for a contract opportunity with Yohs primary care client located in New York, NY.Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:00pmDuration: 1/13/25 - 2/14/25 (possible extension)Pay: $60 - 70/hrWhat Youll Be Doing:Minor in-office procedures and testing: COVID testing (Rapid/PCR), Strep Throat, Influenza or Mono POCT testing, Splinter removal, Urinalysis/HCG testing and analysis, knowledge of preforming phlebotomy, administering nebulizer, and reading EKGs.Cerumen impaction removal, Eye care (eye wash available in office for foreign body), Pap Smears and STD testing, Breast examination, complete annual physical exams- referrals to appropriate physicians for preventative care, wound care (minor burns, cuts, blisters), evaluating acute musculoskeletal injuries and splinting minor injuries (wrist, fingers).Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe treatments of acute and chronic illness.Administer vaccinations (TDAP, Shingles, travel vaccines upon request)/allergy shots (working collaboratively with patient's allergist) and educating patients regarding aftercareWhat You Need to Bring to the Table:NP licenseBLS certification1 year as an autonomous providerPrimary care or related experienceWhats In It For You?Join Yohs extensive talent community that will provide you with access to Yohs vast network of opportunities.Weekends and holidays offDirect deposit & weekly epayrollWhat are you waiting for?
