Nurse Practitioner - Yoh : Job Details

Nurse Practitioner needed for Occupational Health clinic coverage with Yoh located in the Greenwhich Village area of New York, NY. The clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees of a corporate office. Hours: M-F, 8:30am-5pm Duration: 4 weeks with possible extension Top Skills You Should Possess: Nurse Practitioner Two (2+) years of Occupational Health or Urgent Care/ER experience What You'll Be Doing: Minor in-office procedures and testing: COVID testing (Rapid/PCR), Strep Throat, Influenza or Mono POCT testing, Splinter removal, Urinalysis/HCG testing and analysis, knowledge of preforming phlebotomy (MA on staff can perform phlebotomy but may need to occasionally preform if she is not available in office), administering nebulizer, and reading EKGs Cerumen impaction removal, Eye care (eye wash available in office for foreign body), STD testing, referrals to appropriate physicians for preventative care, wound care (minor burns, cuts, blisters), evaluating acute musculoskeletal injuries and splinting minor injuries (wrist, fingers) Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe treatments of acute Administer vaccinations (TDAP, , travel vaccines upon request)/allergy shots (working collaboratively with patient's allergist) and educating patients regarding aftercare What You Need to Bring to the Table: Documentation of all state licenses/certifications to practice BLS Certification upon hire Apply now!
