Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assess and treat patients with common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma in collaboration with a physician. Manage chronic illness care in partnership with physicians. Diagnose and treat a wide range of healthcare issues. Educate patients and families on preventive care, treatment plans, and medication use. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records. Conduct Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Prescribe medications within your scope of practice. Promote preventive and health maintenance care through patient education and counseling. Stay current with medical advancements and integrate new knowledge into practice. Qualifications: Licensure: Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP) or Physician Assistant (PANCE). Experience: Minimum of 2 years in primary or urgent care. Skills: Proficient in using EMR systems, flexible with weekends and holidays, excellent communication skills, and a positive, patient-first attitude.
