Nurse Practitioner (NP) Coordinator - Outpatient Infusion Center

As a Nurse Practitioner Coordinator, you will assume responsibility for the management of the Infusion Center. The Nurse Practitioner Coordinator plans, implements and evaluates patient care in the Infusion Center. In this role, you will coordinate and evaluate staff and system operations to ensure the delivery of quality patient care; and is accountable for staff compliance with regulatory agencies and Hospital policies, procedures, regulations and standards. Collaborate with Nurse Managers, Clinical Specialists, Instructors and others in the planning and implementation of Unit and Department goals and projects. In this role, you will be a working supervisor, leading a group of NP's, while also working alongside them. You will care for patients, as well as troubleshoot, provide guidance, and take care of administrative duties for the NP team.This is a full time position, working Monday - Friday, on-site.Preferred Criteria:
  • Infusion Oncology experience
  • Leadership skills

Required Criteria:
  • BSN
  • Master's degree in specialty of practice
  • Current NYS RN license
  • Current NYS license as NP in area of practice
  • NP specialty certification by the ANCC
  • BCLS
  • ACLS
  • At least 2 years experience as NP
