About the job Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Wound Care - FT Korzen Health is working with Healogics and Guthrie Corning Hospital to employ a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner.This position is located in Corning, NYWe offer Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy training. You will have a full-team in place from the initial start date. The Wound Care Center is an Academic Affiliated program.You must have 2+ years of NP experience in a procedural environment (i.e. urgent care, wound care, specialist medical office). We may be able to substitute similar RN experience in lieu.Scope of Practice Includes:Performing assessment, debridement, wound dressings, skin substitutes and hyperbaric oxygen treatment.Treatment of an average of 10-15 patients per day, with a majority of wound care and less than 5% Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (patient volume varies).Our clinic is generally open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm- 40 hours a week.Full Team- Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, Front end and back end support.
