Job DescriptionAtlantic Health System is Seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner for a Great Opportunity in Northern New JerseyAtlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Pain Management team at Morristown Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP interested in joining a supportive and growing practice.The general responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner include examining patients, formulating diagnoses, developing a treatment plan for patients, and documenting patient progress. The APN must be comfortable working in a fast-paced inpatient environment and have excellent communication with other practitioners. The APN must also have knowledge of pharmacology and have access to the NJ PMP/NJRX. The successful candidate will be responsible for working a minimum of 4 shifts per month, 7am – 3pm or 8am – 4pm. This role does not require weekends.Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Minimum 1-2 years of clinical care experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Must have excellent communication and computer skills.
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
