DescriptionThe Nursing Admin Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Nursing Department at St. Mary's Home, offering clerical and scheduling assistance while ensuring a compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered approach. Working closely with the Director of Nursing, Nursing Supervisors, and external agencies, this role ensures efficient staffing and operations. Responsibilities include maintaining the master schedule for all direct care nursing team members, issuing routine schedules every 6-8 weeks, taking meeting minutes, and managing electronic records for scheduling and payroll. The ideal candidate will demonstrate kindness, a fun and engaging approach, and an ability to collaborate effectively. Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills, combined with a compassionate demeanor, are essential for success in this role.RequirementsEDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE•Associate's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field required. Demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality, and kindness in all interactions.•Strong interpersonal communication skills that promote a collaborative and engaging work environment.•Excellent organizational, time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills.•Skilled at learning new software programs and generating reports from database software.REQUIREMENTS•Must be able to sit, stand and walk for variable lengths of time•Must be able to lift up to thirty-five (35) pounds •Must be able to talk, hear and have vision that includes close sight and the ability to adjust focus•Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel•Able to operate commonly used office equipment•Must wear approved attire for this position (always refer to dress code policy) and wear company-issued ID badge
