This care team member will provide for the hygiene, personal care, and activities of daily living, assist with tray passing and transport of patients, as needed, and measuring and recording vital signs. Some Nursing Assistants may do EKG tests. Some Nursing Assistants may also perform clerical support functions.Job Requirements, Prerequisites and Essential Functions:EDUCATIONHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent preferredEXPERIENCEA minimum of one year (1040 hours) of experience as a Nursing Assistant; in an acute-care hospital or skilled nursing facility is preferred. Enrollment in a registered nursing program with completion of at least the first year of clinical instruction may substitute for the required experience.LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONSCertified Nurse Assistant Required at hireBasic Life Support Required at hireIntegrative Agitation Management (IAM) Required within 30 days of hirePREREQUISITE SKILLS1.
