- CNA**RATE RANGE:* $20/hr - $22.09/hr \*\*Depending on Experience\*\**SIGN-ON BONUS:* up to $3,000_*Note: This posting is for individuals already certified in NY State.*_*JOB DESCRIPTION:*Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for many patients care tasks to ensure that each patient receives the comprehensive and personalized care they need.*RESPONSIBILITIES:** Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility* Preparing each patient room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment, and bathroom needs* Helping patients eat and take medications* Making sure they have regular meals and proper medication dosages* Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff* Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed* Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomforts* Exercising patients by helping them walk*REQUIREMENTS:** Minimum 18 years of age; high school diploma or equivalent preferred* Registered by the New York State Nurse Aide Registry* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Able to follow written and verbal instructions* Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindness* Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds*BENEFITS:** Up to $3,000 Sign-on Bonus* Weekly Paychecks* Shift Differentials* Referral Bonuses* Flexible Schedules* Peer Mentorship* Generous Paid Time Off*ABOUT US:*VestraCare is a portfolio of five health care facilities in New York state, including: Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunkirk; Roscoe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Roscoe; Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boonville; and Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Johnson City.
