Nursing Assistant - Samaritan Health : Job Details

Pay Range: $17.97 - $27.86The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts.

• Previous experience or graduated from a Nursing Assistant program preferred.
• Ability to document on medical records and patient care forms and understand printed health related material.
• One year or more experience as a Nurse Assistant preferable.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Works effectively with others, possess tact, discretion and diplomacy.
• Ability to work under stress and complete duties sometimes with numerous interruptions.
• Must be able to write legibly and be able to document, accurately, type of care given.
• Must be able to communicate information to supervisor and co-workers.
• Must be familiar with equipment used to move patients, take vital signs and document.
• Ability to understand printed health related material.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
