Essential Duties:
- Completes all purchase orders, requisitions, and manages all inventory of supplies, including Library books for the assigned school.
- Manages various campus accounts (Title I, Fine Arts, Activity Fund, etc.) by keeping a register of funds and balancing the bank statement.
- Collects and receipts all monies from activity funds and makes bank deposits when funds reach over $100.00.
- Writes checks to pay vendors for services rendered.
- Prepares and reconciles monthly financial reports for the assigned school.
- Completes necessary paperwork for the travel of the staff and students and submits the paperwork to the proper departments.
- May distribute medications to students when no nurse is present at the school.
- Performs various clerical duties including answering phones, greeting and screening visitors, making copies, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or GED required PLUS one of the following
- Associates degree or higher
- Completed at least two (2) years (48 credit hours) of study at an institution of higher education
- Passed the OGET
- Passed the ETS Parapro Assessment (with a score of 455 or better) or the WorkKeys Assessment (with a score of 4 or better on all three parts)
- Bilingual interpretation and translation skills preferred.
- Additional course work in bookkeeping and accounting preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping terminology and methods.
- Ability to make mathematical computations quickly and accurately and post accounts with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain complex financial records and prepare records and statements.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; ability to prioritize workload.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others using good judgment, tact, and courtesy.
- Ability to serve as a team member in a collaborative department suite.
