Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 356-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Binghamton, NY. The Bridgewater team is committed to providing quality care and diversified services with a professional team of caregivers
The Assistant Administrator is responsible for assisting the Administrator in the day-to-day operations of the building. The Assistant Administrator will be assigned specific Departments delegated by the Administrator, and be the acting Administrator when Administrator is absent.
General Responsibilities:
Serve as the residents primary advocate and act as liaison between staff and doctors.
Make decisions that support resident care and balance the needs of personnel to be effective
Manage staff to ensure understanding of protocols and regulations.
Keep the health and safety of residents and staff at the forefront of all decisions.
Understand financial responsibilities for residents and families, along with analyzing and planning budget proposals
Communicating updates to senior management and board members
Requirements:
Bachelors in Healthcare Administration or a related field, Masters preferred.
Current NYS NHA or a desire to work towards Licensure
5 years related work experience, ability to be on call as needed
Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal, and planning skills.
