Responsibilities:The Nursing Quality Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Supporting nursing quality and safety programs.
- Leading quality improvement initiatives and developing improvement strategies.
- Facilitating compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conducting occurrence reviews, complaint investigations, and root cause analyses (RCAs).
- Collaborating with nursing leadership on corrective action plans.
- Assisting with benchmarking activities and utilizing the National Database for Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI).
- Serving as a resource for evidence-based practice and quality assurance within the nursing department.
Qualifications:
- Licensed RN in New York State with a BSN.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Proficiency in quality improvement methodologies, EBP, and project management.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
