Position Summary The Assistant Health Services Manager (AHSM) works collaboratively with the Health Service Manager, overseeing operations and clinical care in the Health Services Unit. The AHSM is a Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in nursing care and health care operations. The AHSM works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including Dental Services, Medical/Provider Services, Psychological Services and other specialties within the health care team, and assists in providing administrative support and direction of the HSU. The AHSM works collaboratively and jointly with the Bureau of Health Services (BHS) leadership to provide high quality health care to the population within the Institutions of the Department of Corrections (DOC)/Division of Adult Institutions (DAI). This position has considerable latitude for independent action within established DOC/DAI Institution and BHS standards, policies and procedures. Salary Information This position is in pay schedule/range 50-11 with an annual salary of $59.36 - $63.11, plus excellent benefits. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A 12-month probationary period is required. Qualifications Special Qualifications: * Applicants must possess an unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin or a reciprocating state. * Must maintain CPR Certification and have ability to perform CPR. * Must have the ability to work more than 40 hours per week and on any shift based on daily operational needs. This may include weekends and holidays.
