This position plays a vital role in enhancing the health and well-being of program clients by providing them with consistent access to nutritious meals. Delivery communities currently include rural areas in Weyauwega, Fremont, Caledonia, and Readfield, though route may change based on the needs of clients.This position is Limited Term Employment and will exist as long as program clientele require delivery of meals. Anticipated schedule is mid-day delivery of meals on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, but subject to change based on the needs of our clients. Essential Responsibilities Pick up meals at designated location(s) within Waupaca County and deliver to clients within assigned rural areas (current areas: Weyauwega, Fremont, Caledonia, and Readfield, but subject to change).Ensure meals are delivered promptly and with care to each client's home.Communicate any route or schedule changes to program coordinators and clients as necessary.Follow all safety protocols and program policy to protect clients, staff, and the community.Track mileage accurately for weekly reimbursement purposes.Maintain agency confidentiality at all times.Other Duties as AssignedPERIPHERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:A true team member when assistance is needed in other areas of Human Services.Be involved in new and different opportunities not typically assigned to this position when requested. Qualifications EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Caregiver background check required.Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.Physical ability to lift (up to 50 lbs.) and carry meals as needed.
