Role Summary
Nuuly is searching for a Senior Manager of Inventory Operations. The Senior Manager of Inventory Operations will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to monitor and maintain current inventory levels across multiple fulfillment centers. This role is a critical member of the team who needs to possess the ability to navigate in a fast paced growth environment. To succeed in this role, you must exhibit excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and multiple stakeholders. This person needs to display initiative and have the ability to influence others. This individual should be highly focused on KPIs and metrics, with a strong grasp of warehouse operations. This role is on site at either our Raymore, MO or Bristol, PA locations with travel required to either as needed.
Role Responsibilities
* Diagnose inventory flow challenges within the fulfillment centers
* Mitigate risk through building scalable solutions to improve customer experience
* Implement strategies to effectively manage inventory levels and minimize backlogs
* Monitor and oversee operations plan to include returns, inbound, inspections, and outbound to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery to meet SLA's
* Analyze inventory data and forecast demand to optimize inventory levels within and across fulfillment centers
* Lead an existing inventory control team in our Bristol, PA fulfillment center, and develop and lead a new team in our Raymore, MO fulfillment center
* Ensure inventory control processes are completed accurately and efficiently, including inventory cycle-counting, inventory transfers, unit sell-offs, damage processing, custom pick-lists (CPLs)
* Create reporting to ensure visibility and transparency of inventory flow and shrink
* Collaborate with cross functional teams such as:
* Executive Director of Merchandise Planning and Inventory on the execution of inventory processing initiatives
* Senior Director of Logistics on opportunities throughout the BRO and KC3 and across the wider URBN logistics network
* Nuuly technology team on warehouse management system enhancements
* Special inventory projects that occur from time to time
Role Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Economics or related field; MBA preferred
* Demonstrate a passion for and understanding of the Nuuly customers and product
* Competent at pulling and analyzing data and reporting, as well as creating data-rich presentations for team consumption
* Ability to aggregate, analyze and summarize complex data to broad audiences
