POSITION SUMMARY:
Support the Head Coach in planning and delivering training sessions and fostering talent development, with a primary emphasis on Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for player growth.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Coach to design and execute daily training sessions, focusing on high-quality coaching practices and advancing the Individual Development Plans (IDPs) of elite players.
This role is instrumental in implementing and maintaining NYCFC II's coaching philosophy, ensuring alignment with the club's overarching development framework. The Assistant Coach will collaborate with staff across the First Team and Academy to support long-term strategies for identifying, recruiting, and nurturing elite talent.
Responsibilities include reviewing, refining, and executing IDPs, delivering training and competition strategies aligned with the Club's values, and promoting technical and tactical development through effective coaching and mentoring.

COMPENSATION:
This exempt position has an estimated annual base salary range of $90,000-$105,000 and is not overtime eligible. Final compensation offer amounts are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors such as certifications and software expertise.
