Are you a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors? Professional Assistance for Seniors (PAS) is expanding our team, and we have part-time positions available in the greater Rochester, NY area. PAS' mission is to empower seniors and individuals with conditions like Alzheimer's, dementia, arthritis, and diabetes to continue living comfortably in their own homes. Our highly trained staff is committed to delivering quality services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
As a Licensed Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide at PAS, your role will involve:
Preparing and serving normal/therapeutic diets.
Assisting clients with bathing, personal care, and dressing.
Monitoring changes in clients' mental and physical conditions.
Light housekeeping.
Assisting clients with self-administered medications.
Taking, recording, and monitoring temperature, pulse, respiration, and intake/output.
Additional functions permissible under special circumstances.
Maintaining and protecting client confidentiality.

Required Qualifications:
Personal Care Aide Certification, or Home Health Aide Certification
1+ year of experience as a PCA or HHA
Experience working with the following equipment: walker, cane, crutches, wheelchair, commode, hospital bed, Hoyer Lift, and/or household appliances
Reliable personal transportation
Valid driver's license
Valid auto insurance
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20
pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects or clients
Available to work 20+ hours per week including evenings and weekends. Must work a minimum of 10+ hours per week
Up to date on Covid vaccinations

Compensation: $17.75/per hour, plus additional pay for short-notice shifts and weekends.
