Shasta. The hospital is nestled at the base of Mt. Shasta. It is a 25 bed, critical access hospital, level III trauma center, with three rural health clinics and a new Emergency Department. Mt. Shasta is a less hectic community that is sure to make your heart skip with all of the amazing outdoor wonders at your front door. Mt. Shasta has a catchment area of 17,000 lives and is surrounded by lakes, hiking, skiing lifts and many more amazing outdoor adventures. Come enjoy all four seasons with guaranteed sunshine!We are currently recruiting for an OBGYN, who would be working in our clinic and hospital as an employed physician. The current schedule is 1:4 call, with 4 days clinic/surgery *additional call pay for more than 7 call days a month. About the Practice: Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta is looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified OB/GYN to join a hospital-based clinic with no overhead as an employed Physician. The practice is staffed by dedicated and highly competent team players from fellow Physicians to a full support staff. Qualifications:
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Possess or eligible for a California State Medical License
This is an employment opportunity 1 FTE: 36 hours of scheduled clinical time including OR Surgery time. Minimum of 4 hours of administrative work per week Expected to share clinic/ hospital patient call responsibilities as assigned. The base includes 5 days of Hospital Emergency Department call coverage per month. Yearly compensation
  • Base salary: $330,000
  • Call Pay up to $90,000
  • Quality Incentive up to: $8,000
  • Annual Compensation: $428,000
  • Sign on Bonus- $50,000
  • Relocation Assistance starting at $10,000
  • CME Stipend
  • Student Loan Repayment Assistance Available (PSLF eligible)
