Up to a $15,000 sign on bonus! *The Staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for patient evaluations, program development, program implementation and the utilization of techniques and modalities necessary to provide competent occupational therapy services to patients.Work can either be full time during the weekdays, Monday- Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm, part time, or Per Diem. Work is performed at the clinic with some work occasionally at the residential site or in the community.With traumatic brain injury, life changes in an instant. Reviews and update patient programs through interim evaluations. Performs on-site job, home, power tools and height evaluations.Performs reporting procedures.Consults with patients, insurance representatives, families and therapists from various clinic disciplines to instruct, advise or inform them of procedures and tests. Communicates with outside ancillary services, e.g. neuro-optometrist, neurologist, etc. as needed.Stays informed of all patient programs in the department.Instructs clinic aides of treatment plan to be completed daily. Supervises clinic aides and students and is available at all times to provide advice or treatment.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) required.Current Occupational Therapy License in state employed or license eligible required.Knowledge and experience with sensory integration and neurodevelopment of the visual system is recommended and preferred.The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It's not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are arrived at each unique case.
