Occupational Therapist - Mitchell Martin Healthcare : Job Details

We've partnered with a school for deaf students from birth through 8th grade in Brooklyn and they are seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist!

Schedule: 3 days per week 8am-4pm

Location: Brooklyn, NY (near Prospect Heights)

Type: Long-term Contract (ongoing)

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and integrate IEP goals into lessons. Develop and implement intervention strategies.

Evaluate students using appropriate tests, skilled observation, and supplemental information received from other sources.

Maintain records in compliance with regulatory and school policy.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

New York State Certified Occupational Therapist.

Applicant must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Applicant must have excellent organizational skills and pay meticulous attention to details.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.

Minimum of Advanced SLPI Rating.
