Job DescriptionRegions Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work one weekend a month and two holidays a year in our Mental Health units.The Occupational Therapist is accountable for providing quality Occupational Therapy services including evaluation, assessment, implementation, treatment, program planning, communication, education and documentation of adult and geriatric patients on the Mental Health units. These services are provided in the form of one-to-one interaction and short term groups. The therapist is expected to perform related duties as assigned.Work Schedule:Required 2 weekend shifts per month- Day Shift 7:00am-3:30pmRequired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy, includes completion of a 6 month internship in required areas of Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensed in MN as an Occupational Therapist
  • Registration with the Minnesota State Department of Health as an Occupational Therapist
  • Current certification with the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
