A reputable network of Skilled Nursing Facilities based in NYC is currently seeking Occupational Therapists for their locations in Brooklyn, NY. You would be tasked with providing Occupational Therapy services to adult and geriatric patients, developing and implementing treatment plans. The base pay range for this position is $40 to 42 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Responsibilities:

• Provides occupational therapy services and evaluations to adult and geriatric patients.
• Identifies indications for and assists in evaluations at appropriate intervals.
• Identifies a problem list, short term goals, long term goals and treatment plan.
• Conducts individual, supervised and group treatment.
• Monitors patient's response to intervention and consults with healthcare team members when needed.
• Provides/recommends/fabricates adaptive devices or other equipment; trains patient and caregiver in the use or application of orthotics and prosthetics.
• Confers formally and informally with other team members in coordinating the total rehabilitation program of the patient.
• Provides treatment in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures and productivity standards.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• NYS Occupational Therapy License
• Prior SNF/geriatrics experience preferred
