Position Overview

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Assess students' occupational therapy needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to enhance students' daily functioning
  • Provide direct therapy services in classrooms, therapy rooms, and during daily activities
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting plans as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create inclusive environments
  • Educate parents and school staff on strategies to support student development

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Assessments: Identify students' occupational therapy needs through comprehensive evaluations.
  • Create Treatment Plans: Design and implement personalized therapy plans based on student goals.
  • Provide Therapy: Deliver direct occupational therapy services in various school settings.
  • Monitor & Document Progress: Track student progress and adjust plans as needed to maximize success.
  • Collaborate: Work with teachers, school staff, and parents to create supportive, inclusive environments.
  • Educate: Offer guidance to parents and school staff on strategies for student development and success.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in occupational therapy, ideally in pediatric or school-based settings
  • Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensure: Current Occupational Therapist License
  • Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

Work Details

  • Location: On-site at schools in the region
  • Schedule: Flexible, with shifts generally Monday to Friday (Day Shift)
  • Job Types: Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN, Per Diem
