Position Overview
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Assess students' occupational therapy needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans to enhance students' daily functioning
- Provide direct therapy services in classrooms, therapy rooms, and during daily activities
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting plans as needed
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create inclusive environments
- Educate parents and school staff on strategies to support student development

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Assessments: Identify students' occupational therapy needs through comprehensive evaluations.
- Create Treatment Plans: Design and implement personalized therapy plans based on student goals.
- Provide Therapy: Deliver direct occupational therapy services in various school settings.
- Monitor & Document Progress: Track student progress and adjust plans as needed to maximize success.
- Collaborate: Work with teachers, school staff, and parents to create supportive, inclusive environments.
- Educate: Offer guidance to parents and school staff on strategies for student development and success.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in occupational therapy, ideally in pediatric or school-based settings
- Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensure: Current Occupational Therapist License
- Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Work Details
- Location: On-site at schools in the region
- Schedule: Flexible, with shifts generally Monday to Friday (Day Shift)
