Occupational Therapy Position - Speech Pathways of St. Johns : Job Details

Speech Pathways of St. Johns is a growing, family-owned Speech Language Pathologist & Occupational Therapy practice located in Mandarin, FL. Our mission is to help as well as we can in our area. We are looking to expand our current team of Occupational Therapists. Our therapists are required to screen for potential occupational needs, perform evaluations, provide therapy services in daycares, in the office, possible home locations and also instruct social skills groups. While we provide services to all ages, the majority of our clientele is pediatrics. Pediatric experience is required. The qualified candidate will have the flexibility to make their own schedule and have their own means of transportation. The position will start as part time (ALREADY HAVE SEVERAL PATIENTS WITH NEED *14 hours to start* and with more interest pending until we have another therapist in place) with the possibility to grow to full time as case load increases, our caseloads grow pretty fast. We would love to grow this caseload to a full caseload. As an Occupational Therapist, you should have excellent communication (with co-workers and patients) and organizational skills.

The position currently has clients on Tuesdays from 1-5ish and Thursdays from 9-5ish. We have other clients waiting to be seen on other days as well.

This is a Contractor position where rates are negotiable.

***Must be able to complete and pass a level 2 background check***

Candidates must be licensed in the state of Florida, has NBCOT, and has to be able to fully pass a level two background check. Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of children with a variety of developmental, fine motor, self-care, and feeding delays. It would be a plus if you were comfortable with sensory integration.
