This position is for an Of Counsel Attorney for the firm's Silicon Valley, CA office. In this role, the Of Counsel will work directly with the Litigation group in advising and defending employers in various workplace matters including investigations, administrative charges, and state and federal lawsuits and arbitrations, among other areas of employment defense. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates ability to independently produce quality work product
  • Defend agency charges and lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims, and advise and counsel on similar issues
  • Represent employers in court or arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediations on a broad range of employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases
  • Class Action/ PAGA experience preferred but not required
Skills and Educational Requirements:
  • JD from accredited law school
  • 9+ years of experience preferred, employment law experience a plus
  • CA Bar Admission in good standing required
  • Excellent attention to detail, including working with document intensive cases
  • Strong organizational and case management skills, including managing numerous cases at once
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team and effectively utilize other professionals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
The expected salary range for this role is between $260,5000 and $282,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
