Legal Assistant Tasks (immediate) - Administrative support for LegalZoom consulting business: calendaring consultation appointments, email correspondence with LegalZoom customers and LegalZoom administrator, managing/updating consultation time sheets. - Managing client intake: preparation of intake documents, setting up new client files. - Ongoing client file management. - Drafting basic legal documents in business, estate planning and real estate matters. - Online tasks: business registrations, business license/EIN applications for business clients, processing annual reports. - Follow-up tasks: document copying/scanning, managing/updating electronic filing system, routine correspondence/mailings to clients. - Document filing and recording. - Running business errands. Administrative Assistant Tasks (eventually) - QuickBooks accounting system...data input and system management. - Business check preparation.
