HIRING FOR OFFICE ADMINISTRATION/PRIOR AUTHORIZATION SPECIALIST ROLE IN EAST MEADOWSpecific Duties:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, assessing healthcare needs and providing exceptional customer service to patients, team members, and referral sources.
- Manage office workflow, including clinician scheduling, authorizations, and branch operations, while coordinating practitioner schedules to ensure proper coverage.
- Assist with answering phones, greeting patients, patient intake, data entry, and maintaining accurate, complete patient files.
- Obtain, verify, and pre-authorize insurance information, process daily claim billing, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of documentation.
- Counsel patients on financial responsibilities, secure credit agreements for outstanding balances, and provide status updates to patients and internal teams.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pmRequirements:
- 1+ year of Office Administrative experience
- Prior Authorization experience
