We are currently seeking an Office Administrator to work out of our High Point facility in NC.The ideal candidate should possess advanced computer proficiency, particularly in office software, and have experience supporting various departments such as human resources, purchasing, and finance. The ability to handle confidential information with discretion is critical, as well as strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners. About the role:Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Office Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the High Point, North Carolina facility. This role involves supporting key administrative functions, production, human resources, purchasing, finance, and providing essential backup support for the Plant Manager, especially during absences. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and skilled at managing a wide range of responsibilities, contributing to a collaborative and engaging work environment. This role requires advanced computer proficiency, confidentiality, and the ability to manage both internal and external relationships effectively.Location: 782 Gallimore Dairy Road, Unit 1, High Point, North Carolina 27265Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for office management, including reception duties, supply ordering, and general administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance activities, including machine repairs, and housekeeping.
  • Organize and host company visitors, including arranging travel, accommodation, and catering
  • Provide administrative support for the ERP system, updating SOPs and training initiatives.
  • Post and maintain KPI reports for production and operational visibility
  • Manage and process purchase orders, maintaining accurate records of supplies and equipment.
  • Support inventory coordination to ensure that production requirements are met efficiently.
  • Assist with production planning and scheduling to align purchasing needs
  • Act as the liaison between the North Carolina facility and the head office on payroll, benefits, and accounts payable matters.
  • Oversee the submission and approval of accounts payable invoices and manage petty cash.
  • Handle team member payroll inquiries, timecard management, and change forms in coordination with the head office.
  • Coordinate and support team member engagement events, community initiatives, and internal communications.
  • Support in HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Track training, certifications, and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Maintain security and policy administration in line with company standards.
  • Oversee schedules, cross-training, and team coverage to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment follow-ups.
  • Support quality control initiatives by maintaining educational materials and compliance documentation.
  • Serve as the backup to the Plant Manager for production planning, scheduling, and operational decisions during peak periods or absences.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role; preferably in manufacturing
  • Post secondary education in Business Administration, HR, Finance, or related field`
  • Previous work in HR, Purchasing and/or Finance required
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools and ERP systems
  • Experience handling confidential matters with discretion and professionalism
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to travel to Canada for training and/or as required
  • Must have a valid passport and driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
