Job Description :

This position will be assisting with various office operations within a manufacturing/production site. The Office Administrator (Site/Plant Administrator) will be receiving and distributing communications; maintaining supplies and equipment, picking-up and delivering items, serving customers, coordinating plant events, and assisting Human Resources.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ordering and stocking supplies and equipment for the plant
  • Process and reconcile work orders, whey orders, milk orders, and cream orders
  • Receiving and distribution of packages
  • Scheduling deliveries and shipments
  • Plan and coordinate plant events
  • Issue and control access to security badges for plant access
  • Coordinate with staffing company's based on plant and department needs
  • Answer phones and direct calls
  • Act as front office receptionist and greet persons entering the plant
  • Assist Human Resources as needed; lead new hire orientation, safety orientation
  • Attend staff and department meetings
  • Actively participate on EOE Teams that improve workplace safety, reduce waste and improve factory efficiencies

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • HIPAA training within the first 3 months
  • Understanding of basic Human Resources principles
  • 2+ years receptionist experience
  • 1-2+ years production/manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers
  • Ability to calculate using fractions, decimals, and percentages
  • Intermediate computer skills including e-mail, word processing, and spreadsheets
  • Experience with JD Edwards software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
