SummaryThe office administrator provides administrative, accounting, and support services to the business facility.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Abides by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely.Provides Accounts Receivable and Payable support function as directed for CI NE City, Syracuse, Falls City, Auburn & Tecumseh tickets. Ensures accuracy of records including A/R, A/P, Inventory, etc., enters changes into company accounting software daily, prepares inter-company billings as required.Assists staff by providing customer support services by answering incoming telephone calls, determining purpose of calls, and forwarding calls to appropriate personnel or department. Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.Assists in projects that require additional support.Initiates purchase orders, as necessary, and verify and receive purchase orders daily of company purchases.Assists with the Wellness Coordinator to assure programs and records are communicated and maintained. Works in conjunction with the Plant Manager to assure work duties and deadlines are met. Coordinates activities to assure inter office communications.Provides daily billing support to NEBCO Intermodal, one of businesses in the plant location and supports month end billing for NEBCO Intermodal.Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.Other duties may be assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; and
  • one year of accounting and payroll work experience; or
  • equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Valid NE Driver's License.
Computer Skills: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have proven working computer knowledge on the following:
  • Microsoft Word and Excel software.
  • Accounting software.
  • Must be capable of learning and using the current software (Lawson) and/or any new software that is implemented.
Other Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic accounting required must have excellent numerical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, concurrently, timely and efficiently.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
